Bernard Bricot
Doctor Bernard BRICOT is an orthopaedic surgeon.
He was born on July 21,
1948 in Marseilles (France).
After 7 years of studies to the Faculty of Medicine of Marseilles, he makes
a success of the contest of the boarding school of the teaching hospitals
in 1974, he becomes assistant in the hospitals in 1979, gold medal of the
hospitals in 1980, surgeon in 1981.
Member of the Lyons Group of Medical Studies in 1978, he becomes in charge
of research the same year and teaching the following year. He is named observer
of the WHO in 1990
His first research on the postural tonic system and its sensors starts in
1979.
In 1985 he creates with the assistance some of his collaborators, the international
college of study of the statics whose he takes the chair.
For this year he has undertaken a whole series of course and conferences
as well in France abroad; at the present time, more than 6000 doctors and
professionals of health were formed with his techniques of total postural
reprogramming.
Member of the management committee of the World Academy of Posturology and
Associated Therapies.
Member of Association Posture and Balance since 1997, responsible for teaching
at the school of Framework Larris the Wood from 1998 to 2000.
Professor with contract at the University Tor Vergata of Rome, in the department
of Prof. Palattella (Dept. of Posturology).
Professor at the University of Palermo in the department of Prof. Caradonna
(Dept. of Posturology).
Responsible for teaching to the Faculty of Toulouse (Dept. of Occlusodontology)
since 1993.
Professor with contract at the Univershey "Sapienza" of Rome in
the "Master" Department of posturology of professor Ammabille.
Member of the scientific committee of the Healo-Brazilian Association of
Motion Study and the Posture (Paolista University of Medicine, Sao Paulo).
Member of the scientific committee of Revista Brasileira de Postura E Movimento.
Member of the scientific committee of the review: EUROPEAN SPINAL RESONANCES.
Member of the office of the S.IR.E.R. person in charge for the "posturology" and
new technologies.
Honorary president of the CIES Italy, Responsible for teaching.

EFFECTS OF DENTAL OCCLUSION ON THE POSTURAL SYSTEM
One calls mastication all the acts preceding digestion.
The mastication apparatus is connected on the former muscular chains.
On the neurophysiological level it discharges on various formations intervening in management and the regulation from orthostatic tonicity.
The goal of this analysis is to check the influence of the mastication apparatus on balance anteroposterior of the body and the position of the cephalic solid mass, as well as the influence of the stress on these two parameters.
Conclusion
With the gleam of this work and interpretation of the results, the following
conclusions seem justified:
- there are unquestionable interrelationships
between occlusion and posture;
- the stress has an influence on occlusion
and the posture.
